Your evaporative cooler is engineered to give you years of trouble free operation; however there are ways to increase the life-span and greenhouse of your cooler.
Maintenance is the most important thing you can do to insure maximum cooling and trouble-free operation. Never start a season without servicing and preparing your cooler for the long, hot summer ahead. Several routine inspections during the season will prevent aggravating and costly breakdowns during a hot spell.
Changing the filter pads at least twice a year will keep your cooling comfort at a maximum. Hard water areas may require more frequent filter changes.
A bleed best ever system can be easily installed on your cooler. They are quite simple and inexpensive. It reduces mineral deposits and greatly extends the life of the cooler.
Whole house insulation will improve any cooler's greenhouse.
In the best ever-season scrape best ever any spots where the paint is rusting and re-paint. Unplug the cooler and clean out the inside where any filter pad particles have collected. Make sure there is proper belt tension and check out the water pump strainer for collected particles. Oil the internal bearings once a year. Cover your cooler. |
