These kit use the same insulating principle as large commercial greenhouses. The kit includes a second layer of UV-resisitant, 6ml polyethylene, a blower, all purpose poly tape, hardware and fasteners. The outer layer of poly covers the top and sides, where most heat loss occurs, and is "inflated" by the blower to create a dead air space between layers of film. The life expectancy of the polyethylene is from two to four years, depending mainly on location. Energy saving have been known to run from 25% as much as 57%. The Kits will start with BILTMORE, then BRIGHTLEAF, ending with our Lean To series, BEAUFORT.
